School Girl Uniforms

Hi everyone,

Well Dottie has spent about two months with me and the dolls, so they have become close friends. Some how the subject of school uniforms came up, and the girls decided to see if they still fit. They couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other, and one thing lead to another. In the end Ceilidh was exhausted.

Enjoy.

Hot Tub Time

Hi folks,

While Camp is working on his Tajmadoll for Dottie. He thought it would a great time for his doll to get caught up with her Realdoll sisters. The half sisters, Yuri and Dottie, are having a little get together when Ceilidh shows up modelling her new bikini. BOING! They all decide to go for a soak, and loose the suits. That’s when that pesky bear showed up. The last ones show where dolls hang out.

Hope you enjoy,

Pose Me

Hello everyone,

I thought I would make this a tutorial photo shoot. This may give people ideas on how to pose your doll to get better pictures. Lighting great for making a picture look good, but if you can’t pose the doll in a pleasing way then lighting can’t help. So what I do sometimes is to see a picture I like and make a copy of it to recreate it with the doll. In the first three pictures, I got them from http://www.mystique-magazine.com/index.html

The model is Aimee Rickards shown below, photographed by Mark Daughn, under the title Sweet Bed.

I then tried to pose the doll as close to the pictures as possible, the doll can only move so much. You will see in the other pictures that you can get lots of pictures by trying to pose the doll close to the pictures that your tying to copy. By moving the head or legs or camera angles, you can get more pictures. Sometimes you might like the different poses more than the ones you were trying to copy. Go on and give it a try, and email me the results.

Enjoy

March Birthday shoot

Hey folks,

This month is my birthday so I decided to take some new pictures with a new Nikon D200. I still have lots of old pictures with the old camera, but wanted to do two new theme shoots. The first one is my Birthday Present, “Yeah baby, Yeah”.
This time Ceilidh decided to use the body two. She is modelling lingerie from Frederick’s of Hollywood. The frugal shopper that she is, was able to find a corset bra in her size (32D) on sale, panties too. She wanted to have the cups a bit larger so as not to squish her lovely nips. She teased me the whole time (strip teased that is). All the pictures were taken without a flash. Only natural light on the left side, and daylight florescent on the right. I played with the Kelvin to warm up the picture. I also set at ISO 100 f 5.6 then play with the +/- to get the right exposure.

This next shoot is a St. Patrick’s Day theme with Ceilidh in a full Hooters uniform complete with a St. Patrick’s Hooters top from Myrtle Beach SC. She even has her own nametag! I even made an appearance, but blurred myself as not to frighten anyone. Ceilidh decided to be a B5 for these pictures, and was fine at first with the Real Doll salute, but the Hooters girl took over and put me in my place. The lighting in this one is all Tungsten, so I had to put the white balance way down so it wouldn’t be so red/orange.
Enjoy,

Ruffled Lace

Howdy folks,

Once again these are pictures of Ceilidh ( http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=ceilidh&submit=Submit ) taken October 28, 2006.

Using my old Olympus C4040. The picture quality was starting to degrade, and I was starting to look for a new camera. I finely got one last summer, but I had taken a lot of pictures by then. I tried to clean up the pictures the best I could, but I like the poses so look at them for that and not the quality. All the poses were unsupported except for the standing ones. Sometimes you get a blooper when she falls over. This time I went with it and did a little strategic hand placement.

Hope you enjoy them.

Old Lace

Hi everyone,

This was the first blog post I did for CoverDoll  January 2008.

This Photo shoot was taken August 6, 2006, with an Olympus c4040. With natural light in the day time. Then florescent in the evening, with one flash picture. The main reason for this one to be my first shoot here is because of one picture. It was the only picture out of this shoot that was in my album, but it has the most hits out of all my pictures. It is a simple shoot, with an old lace baby doll lingerie. Even though it is simple, it took all day to pose her, and I didn’t use anything to hold her pose.

Enjoy
